Plantable seed card is handmade card made from a mix of cotton and wildflower seeds. The seeds are embedded into the fibres of the card during the making process and stay dormant in the card until planted. Plantable seed card is a great way of creating eco-friendly DIY greetings cards, invitations and more - let your imagination run free!
Sizes from A7 up to SRA2. Pre-scored plantable card blanks, save the date cards, place name cards, and gift tags available.
Use your plantable card as you would any card. After use this eco-friendly card can be planted just as you would any seed, reducing landfill. Planting instructions and a full seed list is sent with every order of our plantable seed paper card.
Please note: The seed mixture in each card may vary, due to the nature of the card. Examples of the seeds included are: Achillea millefolium, Centaurea Cyanus (Cornflower), Cheiranthus allionii (Siberian Wallflower), Chrysanthemum coronarium, Chrysanthemum maximum, Cosmos bipinnatus (Wild cosmos) to name just a few.
Plantable card can be inkjet printed, ink stamped etc... please make sure your printer can accomodate thicker paper/card. Plantable cards should not be digital or laser printed as the heat used to fuse the toner will kill the seeds.

Seeds are liable to get into your printer, so print with caution. Plantable card is suitable for home printing, please always check your individual printer specifications prior to attempting to print, as we cannot guarantee all printers will accommodate thicker paper/card.
