A6 Waterproof Paper – 300gsm | Small but Seriously Solid

Need waterproof paper that means business? Our 300gsm A6 sheets are compact, confident and exceptionally sturdy. Ideal for heavyweight labels, fieldwork, workshop signage or anywhere your documents might encounter rain, grime or general chaos.

This heavyweight synthetic sheet is tearproof, waterproof and suitable for compatible laser printers—ready to tackle outdoor conditions and demanding working environments without flinching.

Important: Not Suitable for Inkjet Printers

As this is a heavyweight 300gsm sheet, please also check that your laser printer can handle this thickness before ordering. Printer compatibility cannot be guaranteed.

FAQ – A6 Waterproof Paper (300gsm)

Q: Can I print on this paper using an inkjet printer?
A: No. This waterproof paper is not suitable for inkjet printers. Inkjet ink cannot absorb properly into the synthetic surface, so it may remain wet, smudge or rub off. Please use a compatible laser printer only.

Q: Will it work with every laser printer?
A: Not necessarily. At 300gsm, this is a substantial sheet that may be too thick for some laser printers. Please check your printer’s maximum supported paper weight, media settings and feeding requirements before ordering. We cannot guarantee compatibility with every printer model.

Q: Is it completely waterproof?
A: Yes. The material itself is waterproof and will not turn into soggy confetti when exposed to rain or spills. Printed results may vary depending on the printer and toner used, so testing a small quantity first is recommended.

Q: Is this real paper?
A: It’s a specialist synthetic paper designed to provide the appearance and printability of paper with much greater resistance to water, tearing and demanding conditions.

Q: What does 300gsm feel like?
A: It has a substantial, rigid, card-like feel. It’s ideal for labels, tags, notices and small signs that need to hold their shape.

Q: Can I write on it by hand?
A: Yes. It can be written on using many pens, permanent markers and pencils. Because different inks behave differently on synthetic surfaces, we recommend testing your chosen pen first and allowing the ink to dry fully.

Q: Can it be used outdoors?
A: Yes, it is suitable for many outdoor applications. However, prolonged exposure to strong sunlight and extreme weather may eventually affect the printed image, depending on the toner and printer used.

Q: Does it need to be laminated?
A: Usually not. The sheet itself is waterproof and tear-resistant, so lamination may be unnecessary for many applications. Lamination can still be used if your project requires additional surface or print protection.

Q: Can it be cut, punched or trimmed?
A: Yes. It can be cut with scissors, a craft knife or suitable cutting equipment and can also be hole-punched. Bear in mind that it is a tough 300gsm material, so lighter cutting tools may find it a bit of a workout.

Q: Is it resistant to oils, grease and chemicals?
A: It is designed to resist oils, grease and many chemicals, making it useful in workshops, kitchens and industrial settings. Performance can vary between substances, so test it first if contact with a particular chemical is expected.

Q: Is it suitable for food labels?
A: It can be used for general labels and signs around food environments, but no claim is made that it is certified for direct contact with food.

Q: Are VAT and UK delivery included?
A: Yes. VAT and standard UK delivery are included in the displayed price, so there shouldn’t be any nasty surprises at checkout.

Q: Can I order a sample or small quantity first?
A: Yes—and we recommend doing so if you need to check printer compatibility, appearance or suitability for a particular job before placing a larger order.

Q: Can I get other sizes or weights?
A: Yep! Take a look at our 190gsm A6 version, browse our A5 waterproof sheets, or contact us to ask about custom sizes.
